In both admission cycle i.e January and July, the distance learning university offers online admission to BDP – Bachelor of Arts (BA) programme. It comes under the SOSS – School of Social Sciences. This discipline is offered in English and Hindi medium however the distance university has given relaxation to students to submit their BA solved assignments before last date and can appear in term-end examination in any medium as per their choice.
The university offers 3 year discipline in distance education mode solely. The admission notification of Ignou BA Programme is available online at university online portal and eligible students can check the Application Last Date, Fee & Qualification of Ignou ba admission online by visiting the university online portal.
Ignou BA Prospectus & Online Admission : The direct link of Ignou BA Student Handbook and Prospectus 2018-19 is available online to download. The prospectus of B.A (Bachelor of Arts) includes admission form, student card and acknowledgement slip etc.
The applicants whose wants to take online admission to BA programme, need to go through the online admission portal IGNOU on-line Admission Portal – onlineadmission.ignou.ac.in. First of all, eligible students need to register for B.A online admission. After registration, the learner need to logged in with their correct login credentials to fill up the Ignou Online Admission Form for BA – Bachelor of Arts. First of all, get Ignou BA Prospectus by paying a small fee of Rs 200/- in cash or by post of Rs 250/-. Read prospectus carefully before taking online admission of BA Programme.

- Eligibility Criteria : To take online admission in bdp – ba, the minimum eligibility should have 12th pass or its equivalent or BPP from Ignou
- Medium of Instruction : English and Hindi
- Programme Duration : The programme duration is to complete ba degree is 3 year (Minimum) and 6 years (Maximum)
- Fee Structure : The total fee is Rs.6,000/- for full programme which has to be paid @ Rs.2000/- per year

IGNOU BA COURSES & SYLLABUS : The distance university follows the credit system. One credit is equal to 30 hours of learners study time. To earn Bachelor’s Degree – B.A (Bachelor of Arts), a student has to earn 96 credits in minimum 3 years with 32 credits per year.
For earning 96 credits, a student has to opt for courses from 3 categories : (1) Foundation Course (2) Elective Courses and (3) Application-Oriented Courses.
